As a first responder to emergency situations Firsthelp plays a critical role in securing the accident scene, alerting emergency services (fire and medical response, ambulance services and SAPS). Thereby enhancing the lifesaving Golden Hour.

Firsthelp operates its services on behalf of all major insurance companies, brokers, fleet owners, motor vehicle manufacturers, dealerships and the public at large.
With allied services such as medical emergency services (Emergmed), incidents are managed holistically with all relevant emergency services directed to scene, where appropriate.

Firsthelp runs a centralised contact centre to handle dispatch functionality of all its services. Trained dispatchers manage incident scenes by real-time technology to ensure that towing operators arrive on scene as soon as possible.
Social Investment Initiatives
Every year Firsthelp delivers over 3000 blankets to the homeless and needy within our community. The Firsthelp blanket drive is an initiative spearheaded by the drivers themselves who take it upon themselves to hand over the blankets.

We have gotten to known some of these people who are forced to live on the streets and it is always difficult to come to terms with how hard their lives are. The winter conditions make it near impossible to ignore, which is why we got together as a fraternity to do something that can make a small difference.”
